Tracy Arm and Helicopter tours - will we have time?

Hi,

 

We will be on Volendam at the beginning of September and are planning on doing the ship tour of Tracy Arm (we have the 10-10.30 service call, drop off tour). The ship indicates that the tour will be approximately 5 1/2 hours.

 

We were planning to simply get back to Juneau and going out to Mendelhall Glacier by bus or taxi or whatever we decide, but wonder if we would actually have time to do a helicopter flight instead - after Tracy Arm.

 

Given it is September and I know it gets dark earlier, do you think it would be possible and worth it?

Only way to consider this is to see what the flight schedules are with the vendors. If any have a 4:30/5 pm departure or not? What you need to find out first.
