dcguy9 Posted April 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2014 We are going to Bermuda in late July. On all of our prior cruises, before the ship leaves the initial port, the temperature in our rooms is pretty high. Does anybody have experience with high temperatures in their rooms for the three days in Bermuda? Thanks!

galavant3 Posted April 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2014 We didn't notice that the temps were high and it was quite hot in Bermuda while we were there.
vplsh Posted April 2, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2014 We were on Summit last July during that heatwave and it was really hot! We realized that we had to keep our curtains closed during the day. That helped a lot. In the evening and overnight it was fine.

We were in cabin 9086.

bphman Posted April 4, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 4, 2014 We were very comfortable in our cabin this past August. We actually had to turn the AC down.
monicajay Posted April 4, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 4, 2014 We were on the Summit for a Southern Caribbean on the first week of March. If the curtains were left open and the afternoon sun beamed in the cabin could get a bit warm. Obviously, and easily, we figured quickly to close the blinds when we left for the day. After that, there was no problem.
Cruise a holic Posted April 4, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 4, 2014 We are going to Bermuda in late July. Does anybody have experience with high temperatures in their rooms for the three days in Bermuda? Thanks! We have, for the past three years, sailed to Bermuda on the Summit second week in August and will again this August. We never had a problem with cabin temperature being hot- a particular cabin might have an AC problem, but that would be the exception, not the rule- If this happens to you call the engineering department and I would "assume" they can adjust the cabin temperature. As a previous poster suggested, if the sun is really strong, close your curtain during the day. Enjoy your cruise.
