IOS Dining 1st day

What is the best place to dine on the IOS the first day for lunch. Is the Windjammer the best option or will the dining rooms be open maybe?

What is the best place to dine on the IOS the first day for lunch. Is the Windjammer the best option or will the dining rooms be open maybe?

The main dining room is usually not open on boarding day.

 

Windjammer, Cafe Promenade, and Sorrento's will be open, and are complimentary.

 

Not sure if Giovanni's is open. If so, that would cost $15 pp.

This is what I figured, but wanted to double check! Wish they had Park Cafe, loved that place on the Oasis.

My vote is Sorento's. There are other things there than just pizza.

I find that if you make it to WJ before 12:00 it is easy to get a seat. Also waiting until after 1:00 when the rooms are open also reduces the crowds.

Thanks for the suggestions! You can design your own pizza in Sorrentos like on the Oasis, correct?

 

We plan on getting on pretty early!

Sorry to say that there is no design your own on the IOS at Sorrentos. They did have surprisingly good (sometimes) pizza though. At least better than we had had on the Oasis and Liberty.
