misguidedangel Posted April 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2014 My friends and I have rented a beach cabana at Mahogany Bay. I have looked on the net to see if I could find pictures or video of the cabanas, and I haven't been successful at finding info. How do they assign the cabanas and how secure are they as I will have my camera and GoPro Hero3 with me for that trip to get some primo snorkeling time (I have my own snorkel gear). I have been to Roatan before, but that was when they docked at the RCI pier. This location will be new to me, so I want to know as much as I can. How is the snorkeling at the beach they have there? How much time would it take to explore the cruise center and do a quick bit of shopping for some local handicrafts. Do they have a place that sells the carved boxes? I bought two from there last time and would love to buy a larger one..... Thanks!
runner15km Posted April 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2014 (edited) Snorkeling is poor but some fish can be seen at the end of a wooden pier in front of the cabana's. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=cabana's+at+mahognay+bay&qpvt=cabana%27s+at+mahognay+bay&FORM=IGRE Not all pics are at MB. jlwyn1 Posted April 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2014 I am interested in booking a cabana but we have 5 in our group instead of 4. Has anyone had any experience adding another person to a cabana? Sent from my iPad using Forums
