Room Safe Size?

Hi -

It's been a while since our last cruise, having trouble remembering how large the in-room safe is. (We will be on the CB departing on 4/12.)

 

Are the safes on CB large enough to accommodate a mid-sized DSLR camera?

Mine will be a Nikon D5000 with two kit lenses, so not huge...but sometimes an awkward fit in hotel room safes, so I thought I'd better check...

 

Not much else will go in our safe besides phones, wallets and keys.

Yes, it'll be big enough. Bring a ZipLoc bag for your phone, wallet, keys, jewelry, etc. as it tends to be dark and hard to see plus small items get lost under the front lip.

Thanks Pam! Picture worth a thousand words...now I remember what the safe looks like. Good idea about a ziplock to contain all the little things that get stuffed in there too.

Absolutley! Kept my sons Nikon and 2 lens in there with no problem. ;)

Great idea about the zip lock bag Pam , thank you. I always worry about something getting caught under the little mat.... so i tend to check it about 5 times before debarking :)
