What's the avg timeframe for a transfer of

a reservation from RCCL to a TA? I recently transferred over a week ago & I've heard nothing from either party. In the meantime, I was able to take advantage of a price drop. It has since went back up. But I did get it locked in via RCCL.

It used to be a day or two, but I recently read here that they have changed their internal process, and it's taking around a week or so now. I've also been waiting about a week for a transfer.

I just got an e-mail from my TA today to say that he contacted RC about my transfer, because it has been 13 days since we submitted it. They told him they are backed up on transfers and not to expect anything to be done until Monday.

My TA had said it was taking 10-14 days. I faxed the form to RCI on Thursday, my TA had the booking the following Tuesday. That was just a couple of weeks ago. Have to say, I was amazed it happened so quickly.

Double check your pricing once the transfer goes through. I have seen one re re-priced to the going rate at the time of the transfer. It was lower because the senior rate had gone down, but could just as easily been higher.
