Parking @ NY city pier

Anyone ever sailed out of NY city? We are going to try and get a limo (the van kind) to drive us but if we can't we are looking at possibly driving in the night before, staying overnight and parking our car at the motel. Is there any deals where you pay for you parking and night's stay all in one? Any info. would be appreciated!:D

There aren't any motels in NYC, and no place nearby (you'd have to go WAY into NJ) to find a hotel or motel that has free parking. Pier parking in NYC is expensive, but cheaper than most hotel garages. If you do an internet search for parking in NYC you'll probably find cheaper parking by a few $ per day a few blocks from the pier.
