Avis return Seattle

We will rent a car prior to our cruise from Seatlle and need to return car before boarding on the Solstice.

Avis has 2 rental locations which we think would be closest to the harbor :

1919 5th Avenue and 1011 Pike Street. It looks like 5th Ave would be easiest to get to coming from highway. Does anyone have experience with these locations and how to get to Pier from there ?

I would definitely choose the Fifth Avenue station, which is across the street from the Westin Hotel, from which there will be numerous taxis available to take you to the dock (and the Avis people will also get one for you, eliminating the luggage schlep.)

We could not find an Avis return station at the Cruise Terminal, which would have even been easier.

There are two cruise terminals (Celebrity uses Pier 91) neither of which have rental car lots. National/Alamo maintain rental kiosks at both terminals and have free shuttles to their downtown rental location. A taxi from the Avis site will run around $15; Pier 91 is around 2 - 2 1/2 miles north of downtown.
