Quad room questions

Recommended Posts

On rhapsody can anyone please tell me the difference between

Standard inside room

Large interior

Superior interior

Will have 2 adults

2 teenagers

I know on P&O in the quad rooms all beds have to remain as single when all our beds will be in use.

Is it the same on rhapsody?

Or could we have a double bed and two singles?

Anyone have pics of the rooms I am looking at?

We have travelled on Rhapsody as a family of 4 in an inside cabin. We had bunk style beds, not a double bed. We have also sailed her in a balcony cabin and had double bed, 1 Pullman over the head of the double and the sofa bed. I don't think you can have a double in an inside when traveling with a 3rd and 4th passenger.

Happy cruising!

All "double" beds are formed with two single beds, which can remain apart. All staterooms have two twin beds with that arrangement option.

With inside staterooms, 3rd and 4th occupancy rooms accommodate the extra passengers with Pullman beds that fold down from the ceiling.

On Rhapsody there are three interior room sizes identified as follows:

Interior (standard) - 132 sq. ft., Categories M,N,Q

Large - 142 sq. ft., Categories K,L

Superior - 164 sq. ft., Category J

The various categories within each size stateroom are to identify location on the ship and passenger configuration. Stateroom prices are based on this.

Categories J, K, M are the ones that can accommodate 4 passengers, so each size stateroom has a category that can accommodate your family.

You can look at the deck plans on the RCI website under "plan a cruise" / "ships" to see where these staterooms are located and do a mock booking with your selected itinerary to see the pricing. Or call RCI or your TA and ask them to assist with that.

Thanks so much, that's a massive help, I wasn't keen on spending 10 nights sleeping over the other side of the room from my hubby!

Looks like we will be ok, just pop the beds together :-)

Cheers.
