Timeshare exchange?

It actually costs more. If use use Disney Vacation Club as the base, points rent for $10 each. It workes out taht the cruise costs about 20% more on points than it does on cash. Don't know if all II exchanges would be the same, but my guess is probably yes.

Well, I call II and looked into it and it turned out the be a couple of dollars MORE than what I could book through our TA! I don't know how they would get any takers on that. I can't see paying the same price and still giving up my timeshare week! Ripoff.

I have 350 points a year with DVC, and it now takes almost 2 years worth of points for a 7 day cruise. I think I have cruised my last on Disney for quite sometime.
