Bug hats for July?

Seasoned Ontario hikers and canoeists here. Going on the Volendam July 2 with stops in Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan.

 

We're hoping to do some hiking in the various stops, but mostly the typical tourist hiking. We will be bringing the heavy duty bug repellant. Should we also bring bug hats? We usually only use them for black flies, or sunset times out here.

the significant bug problems are mainland Alaska. I've never run into much on the inside passage.
