Our opinion on recent all inclusive package

Any place that dispenses what you want can be used.

No time restrictions.

There has been a post from a short coastal repositioning that there was a limit of 15 drinks per day on that sailing. No info on that from other ships. Also no info if that limit was just for alcoholic beverages.

Great! Thanks so much.

The claim that ships water is purer than bottled water is often posted

here. No one has ever posted a link to any sort of study showing this.

Water on princess ships is either bought in port, or made with waste

heat using flash evaporation.

There is a desalination process called 'reverse-osmosis', NOT osmosis,

which uses high pressure to force salt water thorough a semi-permeable

membrane.

This is not used by princess.

I took the ultimate ships tour on the Golden Princess a couple of years ago. When in the engine room control room the engineer explained the machinery and systems there while pointing to them on a diagram. There were RO's at that time.

Thanks for you take on the AI Package. :)

I do have one question though, did your AI Package include the Wine package for Princess? If not, then the AIP would be a waste of our time.

We seem to be like you and enjoy a few drinks now and then. ;) We enjoy a bottle of wine in the evenings with dinner and a couple of drinks during the afternoon and evening. So I guess that I will continue to work on the cost comparison before accepting or declining the AI Package. :D

Again Thanks for posting!

Given that the new AI card includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks found on some of the other packages/cards and also water, the calculation has become more complicated. If you are interested, one poster has created a spreadsheet that encompasses all of the drinks in the package. By properly entering your daily drinking habits in the spreadsheet, it will be able to calculate the value of the AI package/card for your individual circumstance. A link to the spreadsheet can be found on the thread Princess Beverage Package Evaluator.
