Drinks package question

Recommended Posts

Thank you for giving me info on the soda packages, etc. I'm not into Coke, so I will probably be drinking a LOT of water.:)
Many of the ships have the CocaCola Freestyle machine, so if you're going to be sailing on one that does that would expand your choices beyond Coke. Sprite or Sprite Zero with flavor injections such as cherry, raspberry, vanilla, lime or peach are just a few of the 100+ choices on the machines. There are also many additives to flavor the Dasani waters as well. After verifing that your ship will have it, google the freestyle machine so you can see all of the options flavor wise. Enjoy.

Are you saying it cost $55.00 a day just for a "soda" package? If that is the case, does anyone know wheather it is Coke or Pepsi, or something else?

This package just covers sodas, and not malts or shakes, right?

This explains the packages:

Just so you know. Explorer does have the Freestyle Coke machine. I love it and only get the soda package on ships that have it. I only drink diet and the machine gives loads of diet ( and regular) options.

I can answer one of the original questions and say that for us, yes the drink package was worth it. Between the beers, chocolate martini's before dinner, wine throughout dinner and drinking in the casino we certainly got our money's worth. I also drank a lot of bottled water, so the fact they were included in the package was definitely a plus!

We just got of the AOS and my DW and I both had the premium package. It was sooo worth it. I don't think we got drunk once and still broke even. If you just have 3 or 4 drinks by the pool in 5-6 hours then 1 with dinner and 2 or 3 more after dinner you break even and you never even come close to getting drunk and really enjoy your cruise not having to worry about how much you spend or if you should get a drink or what to drink
