Questions about Voyage 5505 Melbourne to Fiji

We are considering Voyage 5055 2/23/15 from Melbourne to Fiji. We love scuba diving and wonder if there is diving available at any of the ports of call. I know they are not offered as excursions but am interested in private day trips. The general area around New Caledonia and Port Vila is known for excellent diving but any first hand experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
