sweetshell637 Posted April 30, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Oh and the cove balconies! If you haven't booked your room yet, I highly recommend it! Loved being so close to the water. Saw flying fish, dolphins, and spent hours watching the waves. :-) Booked in a regular balcony but have heard some great things about the cove! That might be next! sweetshell637 Posted April 30, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted April 30, 2014 We are big fans of Royal, but keep coming back to Magic. The ship is just plain great for a wide swath of folks. From little kids to old, wrinkled and grey. And the martinis are good! 👍 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
prettyrainyday Posted April 30, 2014 #28 Share Posted April 30, 2014 You will definitely want a cove balcony next! I think my only gripe with the balcony on the Magic was that it was so loud due to the promenades below. We got a cove this time and I can't wait! Scooter McGavin Posted May 1, 2014 #29 Share Posted May 1, 2014 Has anyone done the ropes course? How is it?
kajunkroozer Posted May 2, 2014 #30 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Tried out the ropes course last week. I thought it was pretty fun. Didn't get to try it in November on the Sunshine and now I really regret it. My godchild won medal for the fastest time going through the course with no hands the entire way. He even did the whole thing walking backwards a couple of times. Of course, he is 11.

danda0624 Posted March 16, 2015 #32 Share Posted March 16, 2015 If you want a quick snack or perhaps a light meal, you have to get a sandwich from the Carnival Deli on the Lido deck aft. They are really great and there are a lot of options.
RaiderCruiser Posted March 16, 2015 #33 Share Posted March 16, 2015 We had a great time at the piano bar almost every night. Let me restate that: we went to the piano bar almost every night and had a great time.
dave_k58 Posted March 16, 2015 #34 Share Posted March 16, 2015 I don't know if you like Indian food, but at the very back of the ship at the Serenity deck there is an Indian buffet. It was wonderful! I am also a Red Frog fan. Within about an hour of being on the ship my husband and I had a 'Painkiller' in a fishbowl at RFP and it was so delicious and so much fun to people watch from their 'deck' area. Also, if at all possible try the Steakhouse on the first night, it's delicious and you'll get a free bottle of wine! Then make sure to hit up the adult comedy. I could go on and on! Have a great time! :) The Indian buffet on the Serenity is different from the Tandoori?

ABQrobin Posted March 17, 2015 #36 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Tandoor Grill. Menu changes daily but always some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Yummmmmmm. The pool deck area is big and wide and there is space for people to dance to the music. We loved sitting and watching. Cove balcony.... loved it. So close to the water. tkportersat Posted March 17, 2015 #37 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Waterworks for my son, Red Frog Pub for hanging out, Prime Steakhouse for date night dinners without the kiddo and the Comedy Club for late night entertainment. What's your favorite thing about her? What must I try and where must I go?! Thanks!! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
