francy405 Posted April 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Hello, I am going on Allure of the Seas in Aug. and I wanted to know if anyone ever was able to order food from the main dining room for room service? Would we have to pick it up? Is that even possible? Thanks!:)

Otherwise there is a separate and more limited room service menu that does not offer the full MDR choices. Clarea Posted April 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Also, the Windjammer buffet typically has some of the MDR items for dinner, so you could go there and pick up some food.

I have seen once a couple sit down to eat in the main dining room and then take all their food covered upstairs because their children fell asleep. I don't know if they had suites though. Thanks:)
leaveitallbehind Posted April 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Thanks!! I have seen once a couple sit down to eat in the main dining room and then take all their food covered upstairs because their children fell asleep. I don't know if they had suites though. Thanks:) That would have nothing to do with their stateroom category (nor was that room service). I would seem as though the wait staff was just accommodating them as a result of their sleeping children. We have witness similar situations as well. willing292 Posted April 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 29, 2014 I was sick once and missed dinner. Our waiter insisted on making a plate for me and gave it to my husband, nice and hot at the end of his dinner, to bring to me. I really enjoyed it and we tipped our waiter extra at the end of the week for his thoughtfulness.
