Need Help..balcony question on Valor

This may sound like a no brainer, but I currently have a porthole room booked on the Valor in 2 weeks. I have the opportunity to upgrade to a class 8C balcony on the Veranda deck for an extra $50. I believe those are right under the 24 hour pizza. I'm ok with some noise, but is it going to be really loud? Need advice!

I would jump at that! for $50?! Yowww!

Porthole cabins are right up front, where you'll get the bang as the hull hits the swells

-and the whine of the bow-thruster motors when docking, early morning.

The latter only a problem if you like to sleep late.

Under the 24 hr. Pizza area isn't THAT busy.

Go for it. You will survive it! :D ;)

Go for it!!! That's a steal! You may hear some chairs being moved around and racks being moved but it's nothing compared to those bow thrusters. Talk about a rude awakening!

Just upgraded and it was actually in the front of the ship with passenger cabins above and below!!! Porthole on main to balcony on Verandah for $50 (that's per person by the way, so $100 for the room...still a steal!!). 14 days out and I just got more excited!!

Just got off Valor and was on verandah deck in the aft. You will hear the noise of chairs moving occasionally, but not all the time. It didnt bother us, and it isnt constant. More around 5 or 6 when they are straigntening up after everyone starts to head in to get ready for dinner.
