Eating with your fingers!

An old saying comes to mind, "God gave us fingers before he gave us forks."

 

Having said that, I do think it's OK to neatly eat with your fingers. In other words, when you can no longer use the utensils for whatever it might be, you can finish it with your fingers. Not going after it like a pig or anything, mind you!

 

I think we can get too caught up in worrying about what others might think, instead of what is practical. On the flip side of that, I think it's nice to be respectful of other diners around you and not be gross about it!
