OBC for steakhouse reservations?

If I wait until we have boarded, I can make reservations for the steakhouse and the charges would just go on my sign and sail account, right? Then I can use my OBC for payment? We've never tried the additional charge restaurants and wanted to give it a try this time.

We actually just tried a steak house onboard a carnival ship for the first time on or April 20th cruise on the Dream. We made reservations prior to going and they did not charge it to us, just gave us a confirmation of the date and time. When we went to eat they then placed it on our sign and sail to be paid with your final bill. Hope this helps and enjoy your cruise.

You can make your reservation now and pay with OBC when you get the check at dinner that night.

Yes, that does help. I wanted to make the reservations early but want to use some of my obc for it. Thanks

You may already be aware, but if you book the first night you get a free bottle of wine.. :D

I wasn't, but I'm not really a wine drinker anyway. For me it's either Captain and Coke or maybe Malibu and Coke for my adult drink preferences.
