FTTF with Owners suite?

Recommended Posts

You don't need FTTF with a suite.

The only VIP service that suites get is priority embarkation. They don't get priority service at Guest Services, priority tendering, or VIP debark. If you want any of those, you'll want to keep FTTF. I imagine they'd have the owner's suite ready to go ASAP, but you're technically not guaranteed to have access to your room as soon as you board unless you are Platinum/Diamond or have FTTF.

For what it's worth on my honeymoon cruise I did have priority debark. I was in zone 0 and had a suite.

Everything else applies though.

We kept our FTTF with a suite. Suites do get priority embarkation but NOT immediate access to your room OR instant luggage delivery. We had a small one so it was well worth the $50. Grabbed lunch and went straight to the room and luggage was already there. She napped while I unpacked. Did not have any tender ports but used the special phone number several times.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that the only perks of booking suite (any kind of suite) on carnival is priority boarding and a bigger room. They are not famous for their suite perks.

SO i think i got my answer -- We do NOT require FTTF as we will apparently be escorted directly to our cabin -- as basically -- without an escort, we would apparently never FIND the cabin, as it is up on the sports deck above Camp Carnival.

So for the record -- this is NOT an Ocean Suite. It is NOT a Grand Suite. it is the Owners suite -- 1000 sq feet, two rooms, overlooking the lido deck -- and you do not need FTTF for immediate cabin access.

So the wife confirmed our upgrade to the Owner suite on the Sensation today -- (we originally had an Extended Balcony GS) -- and we had FTTF add on

will we still need this or will we get access to the suite as soon as we board?

You will be escorted by a Carnival employee onto the ship, directly to your suite. You will be on the ship before Diamond, Platinum and suite passengers. This was our experience on the Inspiration, however we are Platinum on Carnival.

To clarify once again. A owners suite is not a regular suite. There only two on a ship. PH1 or PH2. They have different boarding procedures than all other suites or cabins. Also, they are not found on any deck plans

Finally people who know what I am referring to :)

it is very odd how they manage these bookings -- everything is different - nothing is normal and its such a rare thing in the wild answers are hard to come by .

thanks for the validation!

I think with the Owners suite you will get everything FTTF gets plus more!

Dinner with the captain maybe! free canope,s in the cabin complementary lots of things including an invite to past guest party even if you are not a past guest! Ship on a stick Platinum pin Diamond pin one of them Carnival mug thingy,s for loyals.

All you have to do is ask your steward and it will be there waiting in your cabin :) Its an Owners suite! Have fun.
