Odyssey Makeover?

Just cruised on the Odyssey last week. I couldn't see any visible improvements, but I had previously only sailed the Sojourn--so it looked just like that. I was told new bathroom tiles and it seemed like the carpets were new (though both looked identical to the old stuff).

Actually, a lot of things were left unfinished (the words of a staff member). One of the elevators was out of order for the entire sailing, one of the windows in the Observation Lounge had a busted seal and was constantly covered in condensation, and our suite had a leaking shower door (which they did fix).

That said, we had a great time and the food and beverage (staff) were as excellent as always.

Off the Odyssey on May 24 and writing from Athens. Looked and smelled like new when we entered. Nothing particularly different from the Sojourn. The spa suites installed but not finished. Food was very good (chef Kurt). Understand the shows are new; the show producer was sailing with us. The dancers were very good. Nothing to complain about in this cruise, and our suite was 745 (with the crooked balcony).

Wow if the elevator bank that's out of order is one of the two that is near the bow of the ship that goes all the way up to the Observation Bar and the penthouse levels, it's been inoperable since since at least our March 15th sailing.
