Kids Sail Free

Recommended Posts

It looks like this promotion just happened last month. Does anyone know if they do it more than once a year? Maybe again in the Fall? We are not sailing until next April so have time before final payments are due.

Thanks!

Some sailings are still showing 3rd and 4th passengers free (for ex Explorer out of Bayonne this summer). You should check the exact sailing you want and see if it applies.

While anything's possible, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this promotion to happen again any time soon. We've been sailing with RCL for the past five years, and this is the first time we've seen a KSF promo from them.

Thanks everyone! I am booking with the BOGOHO promo but would end up saving a little more if eventually we are able to change to the kids sail free promo and losing the BOGOHO as we have two young kids sailing in our room. It's not a deal breaker as we are already booking for next April, just wanted to check.

With the BOGOHO deal, it might be worth it to check on 2 connecting cabins. You'd have more space, and with the second person in each room half off, two connecting cabins might be priced about the same as one inside. Just worth checking.

I never thought on two connecting cabins, that is a good idea with this promo however my kids will be 4 and an 10 month old. So I don't really think two connecting cabins would work.

We are going with more family members and will actually be connecting a cabin with them. They would still get to keep the BOGOHO promo but we would change our cabin to the kids sail free if it comes up again.

Actually, there's a kids sail free sale going on right now. I've only seen it advertised on a third party travel agent web site, but I confirmed it was also available on the RCI web site through a booking. Anyway, it seems to be for selected 5 day or shorter cruises to the Bahamas ( maybe carrib?). Not sure why they are not promoting it.

Yeah but their new sales/marketing method has changed. Now it looks like they mark up the fares when they are released so that they can mark them down and make people think they are getting a great deal.

I think the promotions like the BOGOHO and kids sail free will be fairly common from here on out.

True, it is the same one that started in March (we took advantage of it for a short cruise in July). I just wouldn't rely on RCL ever repeating the KSF promo in the future. It's the first time in at least the past five years that they've run this type of promotion, so expecting them to re-run it next year would be a stretch. Even the BOGOHO promo is completely out of character for them.
