pcwoodwardflier Posted May 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Dear all Onboard azura or Ventura for that matter, is it possible to jog the complete prom deck? Or is there a track on top deck? Thankyou
1160451 Posted May 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2014 No it's not, or rather I never found a way to walk the complete prom deck. Apparently there is a route but I never found it. No running track, it's not RCI...:) There was another post recently asking similar.
davecttr Posted May 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2014 On Ventura's promenade deck there are stairs forward which lead to the 'clamshell' portion around the bow. For Azura P&O decided to add balconies to some outside cabins so to access the clamshell you have to enter the forward stairwell, go up one deck, and walk forward past 20+ cabins :(
Mr Blue Sky Posted May 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Dear allOnboard azura or Ventura for that matter, is it possible to jog the complete prom deck? Or is there a track on top deck? Thankyou Hi, no it's a odd one when I do my walk early evening on deck 7 I do a continual Lap by going through the doors by the glass house/theatre pass the lifts then Exit other side, the joggers I see carry on pass these to the very end of deck at The front sorry forgotten nautical term:) then turn and jog back towards the aft Run right around to other side then to end of that deck to the dead end and back I took a photo of the new sign of distance if it helps It reads Azura Mile. One lap 0.36 miles three laps 1.1 miles 6 laps 2.2 miles One mile = 2 full laps plus one lap finishing at the emergency exit stairs by playhouse on the opposite side to where you started. Hope that helps in some way Mrs Blue Sky
jeanlyon Posted May 22, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2014 On our last cruise people were asked not to jog, only to walk as other people kept getting bumped into. That was on Oriana which has a wide Prom, unlike Azura which is rather narrow.

john watson Posted January 27 #8 Share Posted January 27 On Azura you need to go inside at the forward doors to inside up a series of stairs and through white doors that look uninviting. Regards John
