Second seating Posted May 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2014 Thinking about a Windstar cruise in 2015 but wondering about how they deal with GF dining? Thank you, Second seating
ducklite Posted May 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2014 I'm not GF, but I have numerous serious food allergies, and they handled it all brilliantly. As on any ship, lunch seemed to be the trickiest, but use your common sense, ask a lot if questions, and err in the side of caution.
acruisefan Posted June 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2014 We had a family member with us on our last cruise ( in January) who was not only gluten intolerant but also has issues with soy and sugar. She even brought her own special protein shakes, in case there were not enough choices for her. We were on the Windsurf and they were wonderful at accommodating her food restrictions. Be sure to mention gluten free in the notes when you sign up for the cruise. It is much easier for them to accommodate when they know in advance.
