NY to Bermuda. Which side of the ship?

Hello!!!

We have decided to sail on the Breakaway to Bermuda next June. We have decided on the 2 family Villa in Haven.

Anyone have suggestions on which side of the ship to book our room?

While in port, do we want to face the ocean or port? (I'm guessing ocean)

Which side of the ship would that be?

Thanks so much!

Jamie

No way to tell which side the ship docks on. It can change from cruise to cruise depending on what kind of maintenance (lifeboats, etc) is being done while in port.

This is true, no way to tell. When we went with my brother and sister in law we each had a cabin on opposite sides. both views are great.

For sailaway from NYC, it does not matter. You will probably be up on deck somewhere anyway, as you'll want to see the Statue of Liberty side as well as the Manhattan skyline and will be moving from side to side.

While docked in Bermuda, the views are good off either side of the ship. We had a beautiful view of the old fort (?) across the way. If you are on the other side, you'll have a nice ocean view.

But, I would go for a Starboard side cabin if it were me because of the view off that side as you depart Bermuda. You follow the coastline for quite some time and are fairly close to land. Really lovely views and it was nice to watch from our own balcony.
