Bermuda in September

We are thinking of booking a cruise to Bermuda in early September. What is the weather like? Is it very humid and/or rainy? Very hot? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

We were there in mid September. It rained lightly one day. it was a bit humid but not bad. My DH thought Hawaii was worse for hot and humid.

We always go the first week in September, and we always have had beautiful weather. It can be a little warm, but the ocean temperature is perfect!

It will be warm. It can be humid, it might be ridiculously rainy. We got caught in a tropical depression on our last trip.

 

But it was still a beautiful vacation

Went in September 2012 from NYC,

 

When we left NYC we didn't know where we were going :eek:

 

It is hurricane season, it is hot and humid.

 

Hurricane Leslie was heading for Bermuda and we might have to divert ...

 

Early afternoon on the first sea day they told us we were going to Bermuda :D

 

The alternate route is Florida and Bahamas and the last escape route is Canada....I AM from Canada and would have jumped ship if the captain told us we were sailing to Canada :mad:

 

Anyways.... the stay in Bermuda was cut one day short because of the hurricane, all water excursion were canceled because of the high waves and Horseshoe Bay beach was closed...well we went in the water anyways ( like many others )but it was scary rough :eek:

 

I am going this year again but I pushed from early September to late October to try and escape the hurricane season...

I would go in September but you just never know what the weather might be like. There is a chance for a Hurricane but the odds are still relatively small.

We went on the dawn over last Labor Day and had beautiful weather. I swore I would never sail during hurricane season, but I'm going again this year on the 9/5 sailing. Fingers crossed🚣

Was on the Breakaway last September. Didn't think we were going to make it to Bermuda. We arrived 12 hours late. So there is a possibility of encountering a storm.

Always go in September. Taking a hurricane season chance, but worth it. One Cruise there were 3 hurricanes out there but dodged them all. Plus kids are back in school!:)
