Has anyone done the "C" Ruins on their own?

I guess my earlier post got dropped with the update.

 

Anyway, there is a lot of talk about hiring a private taxi and doing the "C" ruins independently. Has anyone done this and if so, what was your experience?

Sorry I haven't responded earlier to your quest. Yes we went on our own to Chocobbean. It is not far from Majahaul. By taxi from the ship pier it should be less than an hour. Check our this site for more info and pics.

Could someone tell me the difference between lettered category ruins??

I have seen the Tulum ruins and looking at the Caccobean ruins for an upcimping cruise.
