DreaAST Posted June 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2014 We will be in St Thomas from 8-5 and doing an excursion from 8:30-12. Is there time to go downtown to shop a bit before having to be back on board? I'm not sure how far the ship socks from the shopping area. Any help would be appreciated! Ms411 Posted June 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2014 There are shopping opportunities at both docks as well as in town. It depends on what you're looking for as to where you should go. You have time to go to town after your excursion, and you could enjoy a local meal at Gladys' Restaurant.

Most excursions go through the gown on way back to the ship. Just ask to be dropped off. . Plenty of taxis to take you back to the ship. Remember there is a rush hour around 16.30 when traffic builds so give yourself and extra 20 minutes, just to be safe on time.;)
sail7seas Posted June 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2014 Oasis (and Allure) dock at Crown Bay. If your tour returns you to the ship on time, you will be able to catch a taxi downtown to shop if you wish. There are some small shops at Crown Bay but not nearly as much as at Havensight.
