Passrider76 Posted June 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2014 Each cabin has it's own temperature control.....you can set it to whatever suits you! Temps in Alaska may not be as cold as you think. We went in late May last year and they were having a mini heat wave....temps in the 70's to low 80's. We were wishing we'd thrown in a few t-shirts! ClaudiaB Posted June 1, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2014 There are robes in your cabin. Pack layers for the glacier day(s) and if you are short on space you can stick the bulkier stuff in a Space Bag and suck out the air. Have a great cruise! We love Alaska. TommyD3 Posted June 2, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2014 It depends on the ship. The Solstice has a very wide range of passenger temperature control. The Millennium ships have a narrower range, but you can call them to shift the range. The Century is REALLY bad. We were on in February and I had to wear a sweatshirt & gloves to bed in a Sky Suite. When we called the tech said they could not do anything. On the next segment we were in an inside cabin and they had to shut off the ventilation to keep us from freezing. The following segment we were in a Concierge and had good temperature control. This was in the Caribbean:)
