Grand Suite First Time Questions

Recommended Posts

Was lucky enough to get a great deal on a grand Suite upgrade and it was perfect timing, Our 40th Anniversary. Any tips on how to enjoy the perks and any insider info on what to and not to do?

I want to make sure my wife has the time of her life this coming weekend

Any info how big or small would be greatly appreciated

This makes a big difference to us. I usually book a junior suite. We are diamond so we have access to the diamond lounge for cocktails. There is a lounge for GS and above.

To me that is the biggest perk we enjoy but get for being diamond.

HOWEVER......if we are going to Royal's private island in the Caribbean (LABADEE), there is a BIG difference.

You have to be in a GS or above to have access to the best part of the island. That part of the beach is nicer, an attendant watches your stuff, water floats are free, & the barbeque is upgraded with steaks and shrimp.

of course your room is bigger....

We are just on a 3 day cruise to Bahamas and Coco Cay. They also have the same area now on Coco Cay for the Cabanas

the cabana area is for rentals only and costs $200. :o it is nice though

We enjoy cruising in a GS and also enjoyed being in an OS. One of the perks we enjoy is the reserved seating in the theater.

The Concierge will be able to help you with reservations for the specialty restaurants. Your stateroom key card will also give you access to enter the Concierge Lounge.

You will have an extra special memory after cruising in a GS. Don't forget to take pictures of your stateroom. Happy anniversary!

Enjoy! Enchantment is one of our favorite ships. We have always stayed GS, and love that cabin category. If you have time in Nassau check out the John Watlings Rum Distillery-it's a beautifully restored estate not far from the downtown area.

Congrats...on your anniversary, and many more.

Also, how lucky you are for the upgrade, what a nice surprise.

Enjoy.

The Conciernage lounge is nice, as well as the seating in the balcony.
