Emergency question about Miami

My friends are going to Miami Florida for a medical emergency, (she has Stevens -Johns disease and among many other medical problems, is going blind. The top expert in Stevens-Johns eye problems is in Florida and can see her Tuesday. Yea!) Anyway, she asked me to find out if there is above ground subway systems in Miami. I promised her I would try to find out today before they leave. I know that a lot of you go to Miami to cruise. And to make this cruise related she and her husband are going to try to go on our next cruise with us! Thank you all for your help.
