talyman2001 Posted June 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2014 We are admittedly very spoiled. My only other cruise was a back to back on the Pearl in a SF suite in January 2011 for our honeymoon. One of my favorite suite perks was breakfast and lunch in Cagneys. Does the Dawn offer the same perk? I have been unable to find the answer. Thanks for your consideration. If you are in a suite (not a mini-suite), then you have breakfast and lunch privileges in Cagney's on the Dawn.
talyman2001 Posted June 15, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted June 15, 2014 We are booked in a Penthouse suite (not a mini suite). On another thread, they showed links that show the perk for Haven guests, but not Penthouse guests. I really hope I am mistaken in my reading of the thread... I will say it again as others have said in the thread you mentioned. You will have Cagney's Breakfast and Lunch privileges. Chalk up the confusion to nothing more than very bad webpage management on NCL's part. If the privilege had been revoked, we would have already heard about it here on cruise critic from people who have been actually refused entry to Cagney's. pathubia Posted June 16, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2014 We were in a suite on the Dawn in May. Suite guests did have breakfast and lunch in Cagneys on sea days. On Monday and Tuesday Cagneys was not open for breakfast and lunch, on those days suite guests could have breakfast and lunch in LaCuccina. (same menu as Cagneys) Not sure if this is for every week, but it was for the week of May 16.

Sauer-kraut Posted June 17, 2014 #11 Share Posted June 17, 2014 NCL got what they paid for. If you peruse the other boards for cruise lines you will find that there are glitches most of them. There are complaints on RCL, Cunard, and CCL that I have seen. I think its an industry wide type of problem.

negc Posted June 18, 2014 #14 Share Posted June 18, 2014 So that makes it right? You can't defend bad practices by pointing out other bad practices. Race to the bottom? Of course it doesn't make it right, but it is only fair to point out that the problem isn't confined to NC but seems to permeate most of the industry, especially the major lines. Rare All-ready2cruise Posted June 19, 2014 #16 Share Posted June 19, 2014 What I find strange is that, for someone who appears to hate a cruise line so much they appear to spend a lot of time reading and giving feedback on this forum. It makes no sense to me, if you hate something so much... move on, stop spreading so much venom and being so antagonistic to those who appreciate the benefits of NCL. Life is too short to be so hateful... love life
