sagsgirl Posted June 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2014 We will be travelng with four senior citizens from SF to Alaska and back to SF on the Star Princess. We're traveling on July 17, 2014. Any suggestions on how to make boarding easier for them? Two are in their 80's and they are concerned about having to stand for long amounts of time. Is getting there later in the day better for them? Should we contact Princess? Thank you.
Bonnie J. Posted June 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Contact Princess about this. They may be able to get a wheel chair to actually get on the ship. The wheel chair would be waiting for them at the pier and I think a Princess person would wheel it for them to the ship. Its hard to say when there won't be a line. CruiserBruce Posted June 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) Agree...contact Princess. The cruise lines handle issues like this very well. Your friends will not be expected to stand for any period of time. Edited June 16, 2014 by CruiserBruce
