Corfu - to include boat trip and Mouse Island

Hi -there are seven of us visiting Corfu in August (Celebrity Silhouette) - we are thinking of hiring a mini bus with a driver to take us to a beach maybe with a boat trip, a nice taverna with a view (maybe mouse island) and then back to Corfu town. We have two teenagers and two young adults in the party too so they fancy something 'exciting' to do whilst in Corfu, so visiting palaces and monasteries is a no-no.

We are toying with a trip to Paleo and then heading back towards Corfu town etc - any suggestions of either a boat trip or a great place to eat would be fab

We rented a car and went to Paleokastritsa, beautiful town, beach and views with lots of nice restaurants.

We have stayed in Paleokastritsa and it is very pretty with good restaurants but not really much of a town. You can hire small motor boats from the beach which we loved although even in August we were not allowed to take the boat out on two days because the sea was too rough.
