What attractive, clean cut looking kids you have!

I've never heard of that food sampling tour in San Juan. Was that through Carnival? Coffee and pastry are right up my alley.

Thank you so much. They're good kids... so far.... thank God.:) I found the Food Spoon tour under Tripadvisor.com/ San Juan then under things to do, then activities.

It gives a list of activities you'd never think of ordinarily. I wrote a review on it too.

Stunning looking family ! I've enjoyed traveling with you ! Thanks for taking me along.

Thank you so much. Writing this makes me relive it too. Just wish I could remember our daily ship activities but thats a lost cause at this point. :o

Last full day and sea day on the Liberty. As you know by now I dont remember what we did that day. I do remember exploring the ship one last time and trying to get my family's help in selecting which pictures to buy. DH went with me, while the kids slept in. DD was starting to stress about making up her college classes and exam, actually she started stressing in Grand Turk. She said she will never miss a whole week of classes again! But, that was NOT her comment when the cruise date was first discussed. None the less with much prayers and studying, she passed her classes. I think DS slept most of the day then ate and did his own thing.

Thanks for sharing! Had a great time reading and esp seeing the great pics. I will be going on this cruise in less than a month away and could not be more excited! It is slightly different it's a 8 day but Nassau isn't one of the stops but all the other ones are the same. Not sure why that is?

You will enjoy the ports. I also noticed when planning this cruise that they alternate Nassau with Coco cay, Carnival's private island. I really wanted that (coco cay) itinerary but the dates didnt work out.

Maybe your extra day has something to do with Liberty's new home in Orlando? Have fun and enjoy your cruise! Thanks for reading my review!

Categorized ship experience

CABINS AND LOCATION- Loved the oceanview cabins. They were nicely decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. Forward location was a first for us. We always stay midship. I did feel more motion forward but nothing sea sick meds couldnt solve.

There was a sewer smell around the forward elevators area but it didnt linger to the hallway.

STAFF- Cabin attendant was fantastic. We tipped him daily. The gold dining room hostess was friendly and attentive, when we entered the room, she smiled and addressed us by name. We had your time dining so we were seated at different areas nightly which has its advantages and disadvantages. There was one waiter who wasnt the most friendliest and we were glad we werent seated in his area again. The guest services staff were not the friendliest bunch but effecient.

Overall, the staff we interacted with were excellent.

Recreation- we didnt play putt putt this cruise as we usually do. I told my family the slide was one of the things I want to do on this cruise but chickened out. I didnt see the hairy chest contest or any of the poolside activities. Hhmm wonder why??? Maybe it took place while we docked or we were busy somewhere else. My son played basketball I'm sure and according to my bill, he played his share at arcade! The spa was glorious. I had the full body massage and the hot stone. It felt soooo good! We were not pressured to buy their products.

I didnt step foot in the gym;)

ENTERTAINMENT- Lots of venues and music throughout the ship. These are what we or I attended.

Venetian Palace Theater- Welcome Aboard Show, Love and Marriage game, Magician (he creeped me out), Legends (very good show), Bingo (DH and DD),

Michael Jackson Thriller class (funny), one or two variety shows and as mentioned VIFP party.

Comedy Club- DH and I went to one of the adult comedy shows. A little too vulgar for me but funny. Go early if you wish to go to either. One night we attempted and it was fulled to capacity. The night we did get in, we were 30 minutes early and managed to get a spot in line. The night we didnt get in we went to the Karaoki Bar but it was too smokey. Then sat in the piano bar for awhile. He pianist was entertaining.

ENTERTAINMENT CON'T

Promenade- Participated in the Motown music trivia and tv sitcoms trivia. Missed the Mardi Gras party and parade.:(

Casino- I wasted a few bucks trying to move coins money down the shoot, got it a few times. Just got my money back really. DH and DD played the slot machines a couple times. No winings.

Lido- DH, DS and I participated in the sail away line dances. They taught me the cupid shuffle. The ship director and staff were good at teaching the dances too.

The DJ is good for those who like today's music. I do like the Happy song that he played almost every time I passed thru the area.

ATRIUM LOBBY- Heard and saw a band playing here as I went to guess services to but more cash on our cards. They were good.

TEEN CLUB- DS said it was alright
