Celebrating a Birthday Onboard the Explorer

We will be sailing on the Explorer on the 5 night to Bermuda in August. We will be celebrating my DD's 6th birthday while onboard. Besides the cake that can be ordered, is there anything else they do, or that I can book to be delivered? I thought they had birthday stateroom decorations but I am only seeing Bon Voyage, Just Married and Happy Anniversary. Does anyone know if I bring balloons, if they have helium to inflate them?....odd shot I know, just figured I would ask.

From recollection it was $31.00 for stateroom decorations including door sign.

This may of changed

You can contact 1-800-722-5443 who deal with stateroom decorations and celebrations.

I will be doing this again for wife's 40th on Jewel:D

I ordered and paid for the birthday decorations before we boarded for our Oct cruise on Explorer for my hubby. I placed the order online and when I boarded I went to guest relations to verify when they would put them up and they did not show the order. No problem - they asked what day I wanted them put up and when we came back from our shore excursion the room was decorated. So if you order online you may want to check once you get on board that everyone is on the same page.

I just called RCL and the Birthday decorations are out of stock and they don't know if they will be getting them back in stock! :eek: They said to keep checking if they get them back in stock. If I bring my own, do you think I would be allowed to decorate?

My daughter will be celebrating her 13th birthday on the 2nd day of our July cruise on the Navigator. I had planned on packing some light decorations (streamers, paper lanterns) and decorating the room while she was sleeping.
