Freedom cabin under Jacuzzi

Recommended Posts

I just stayed in 1560 on Independence on my last cruise, which is the equivalent to 1568 but just the other side of the whirlpool. I didn't hear any noise at all. My 'neighbours' in 1564 never mentioned any problems either.

The only thing is the overhang will completely block any direct sunlight to the balcony (or at least that is how it seemed), so if this is something you want, consider 1560 or 1568.

Jo :)

Also, be aware that those GS balconies under the hot tubs have a bronze-tinted glass on the balcony. I've read that the tint does affect your view if you are sitting in your chair or lounger.

Has anyone stayed in a GS under the whirlpool? Noise??

Yes! 1564 on the Liberty. Absolutely no noise from the whirlpool. It has a larger balcony with 2 loungers, table and 2 chairs - loved all of the space but be aware, very little sun hits the balcony, which may work in your favor. I did not care for the bronze colored glass on the balcony. I found it difficult to look through as you mostly see your reflection - yikes !

We stayed in 1260 which was just in front of the overhang. We had just the front curve of the jacuzzi overhead, which was nice late in the day because it blocked the hot afternoon sun and made the balcony a little cooler. As far as noise from the tub, we heard nothing at all. I'm guessing because its the adult solarium you will be under, there is more consideration for others rather than being below a kiddie hot tub ! Keep in mind when we had this room, it was snowing when we left home, so there was absolutely nothing that would have bothered us about this room or cruise !

I ended up booking cabins 1248 and 1252 for our family

I've never been this far forward I might be Rockin and Rollin.

It's close to elevators and good news a long way from the windjammer .

So I can walk off some of the calories

Thanks all for the info I think we made a good choice

My mum has had 1548 and 1552, so just the other side if the ship and thought they were great rooms! Have a brilliant cruise :)

Stayed in 1568 twice on the Freedom.

No noise.

Yup tinted glass.

So when you look out it kinda has a yellow hue to what you see.

But when you look in, you cannot see anything:eek: (Mmmmm)

Sea Ya
