In May, I found a casino deal for $94I found my favorite empress deck (no single supplement)! cabin which brought the price up to $134. With taxes, it came to $206.12. I also got $25 casino cash, which I used to win $300 in the butterfly sevens slot.

I think I made out pretty well!

There's a new rate out there called "half-year sale" for travel between September and November that made a difference in my rate. It's only a 50 dollar deposit so if that's the original deal you had chosen it's painless to switch to the lower rate. I found it using Carnival's fair viewer. I have made it a habit to pretty much check it everyday. http://www.carnival.com/BookingEngine/FareViewer/#

Just got back from 6 days on the Breeze, 6/29-7/5. Paid $650 pp total taxes, fees, grats for triple occupancy for an 8E forward (close to lobby elevators) balcony on the Lido deck. Awesome last-minute VIFP and Friends & Family booking with a great PVP. Was initially paying MORE for deck 8 in an 8C aft balcony. Couldn't have been happier with my cabin. Fantastic steward, amazing anytime dining waiters and incredible ship. Can't wait to go back on the Breeze! Maybe in a spa balcony the next time.

$340.31 each for me and my daughter. Includes gratuities and insurance. We're READY for our balcony on the Freedom... July 4.

This price seems like a dream, please tell us how you managed such an exciting rate. I figure with gratuities at $84, insurance around $40, taxes and port fees at least $75 you paid just over $140 per person for a 7 day cruise. At that rate it would be cheaper to live on a cruise.

These cruises were taken in January 2105

8 day Freedom Jan. 10 cabin rate $240 Inside Guarantee 2 people (Main)

6 day Conquest Jan. 18 cabin rate $189 pp Inside Guarantee 2 people deck 10

Splendor to Bermuda 7 day Oct 2015 $904 pp cabin rate deck 7 balcony. 2 people in the room

Pride 11 day Jan. 2016 $804 pp cabin rate 4k (French Door) 2 people in room

Pride 10 day Jan. 2016 $724 pp cabin rate 4K. 2 people in room

These prices do not include fees, taxes, or gratuities.

I don't mind sharing prices, but again unless you know the number of people in a cabin for the rate pp or total cabin price, you can't be sure you are comparing "apples to apples". There are so many variables that I don't get upset when I see people getting large price drops. I consider any price drops as an unexpected bonus.

For an 8 night southern Caribbean on the Breeze for 2 in an 8D balcony cabin with taxes and port fees, we booked for $2665. This is way too much and since we booked early saver, I fully expect to take advantage of MANY price reductions. I like to cruise in a balcony for $100 per person per day or less.

I can't remember exactly, but our cost for our April cruise on the Dream is around $1600 or so for the two of us in a cove balcony room. It is during Spring Break so the prices were a little higher than other weeks in April.

For the June cruise, we received the Pack and Play offer. $420 total for 2 of us in a L shaped balcony room with the extra large balcony. We have $100 OBC so in our heads we think of it as paying $320 for the room because the $100 is something we would spend on board anyway, easily. We did add FTTF on this cruise so if you add in the $50 that brings us to $370

Of course, all of this is before getting on the boat. We gamble every day. We are not big drinkers but I plan on enjoying a few more drinks this time around than before. So who knows what the actual total cost will be.

We paid $2600 for 2 people for an 8B Balcony Cabin on the Sunshine for 8 days.

This is much more than we'd usually pay for a balcony but we justified it since we knew it'd be a pricier itinerary because of Spring Break ANNND we got a 2nd cabin for $226.70 with a Casino offer.

We're also up to $635 in OBC thanks to price drops in our 8B Balcony so all in all I can't complain one bit.

Same here. Booked a total of 3 of the pack and play offers, 2 balconies, one ocean view for a grand total of $850 for all 3 cruises. What we spend on board remains to be seen!!

Not to be rude however, my meaningful numbers are nobody elses business. Just like my annual income. Nunya

And I'm not really concerned as to what fare other people paid. I'm happy with my fare, I can only assume that you're happy with your fare.

Sorry - but that reply was rude.
