Solo pricing?

I recently sailed in a Grand Suite solo. We have over 340 points.

When they credited me my points they only did double. It took

a phone call and several weeks later for them to fix the points to

triple, but they did. ( Not booked during BOGO).

I am in that situation and have been getting double points plus additional points for booking a suite. But am wondering how the points work for a solo traveler booking with a BOGO sale.

As a solo traveler I'm also concerned about how the BOGOHO could be handled, but the reality is that most folks taking advantage of the BOGOHO will be two or more people in a cabin, which is actually a more complicated situation for them to mess with. How would they allocate points in a cabin with 4 people if one person pays full fare, the second person pays half fare, and the 3rd and 4th people pay the additional person rate? Currently all 4 people get one cruise point per day in a regular cabin. In that situation solos are paying the same as passengers 1 and 2 together, so to keep it fair under the new guidelines, solos should get the same as passengers 1 and 2.
