Info on Northbound Alaska on Radiance

We are looking for any and all info from those who have been on the northbound cruise from Vancouver to Seward. Where did you stay in Vancouver. Is there only one train a day from Seward to Anchorage? Where did you stay in Anchorage. What to see and do for a day or two in Vancouver or Anchorage? Any good/reasonable restaurants in either city? I'm sure we will have many more questions but this is a good start.

We did this a while back on Serenade

Here is what I can recall

 

We stayed at

Hyatt Regency Vancouver

655 Burrard Street

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6C 2R7

We booked this independently from the cruise, as we had enough reward points to get a free room

Vancouver Airport to hotel 10km, about 15mins in taxi. $25.00

Hotel to port via shuttle 3km about 6mins, nice and quick to ship

 

We spent the day at Granville Island, small boat ride over, from recollection was $5 each, nice market and parks, all walkable.

 

Sorry I cannot recall where we ate out.

 

No information on Anchorage
