DrNora Posted July 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Does NCL have a cocktail reception for Latitudes members? If so what day of the cruise? Thanks. I have read in reviews that they do, but knowing what ship you are on might help. It may differ from ship to ship.

deladypilot Posted July 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2014 On all of the cruises I have been on they do have a Lattitudes party/reception. The 2 I have been to have been on the first sea day around 1pm. One served drinks and snacks and the other did not
mugtech Posted July 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Wine and cheese on the Spirit, think it was a sea day or 6PM pull out. You will be invited with the paperwork in your cabin.
Cubechick Posted July 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2014 The general Latitudes Party is on all ships except the Epic, Breakaway, and Getaway. No Latitudes benefits are offered on the Sky because here itineraries are less than 5 days.
Rare mking8288 Posted July 5, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 5, 2014 As others said, it varied with the ships, the ports & itineraries, and, with the size of the Latitude sailing with them. On the Breakaway's Bahamas run, it was Sea Day #3 and Sea Day #4, split among those with Platinium/Gold & the Silver's - in the evenings. For the Gem & Jewel - it was Sea Day #1 in the late morning. For the POA a few years ago, it was in the evening for Silver/Gold & up only. Check the Welcome "package" with the NCL ship pins & promo/discounts placed in the staterooms upon boarding - or, check at the Latitude Desk if they somehow missed you. It used to be a "bigger" deal with more generous giveaways, including a free-cruise for 2. All we've won lately was a Del Sol color changing "frisbee" - and, of course, drink up all you can by getting there early. For more specifics, check with the most recent Roll Call for your ship with identical itinerary as those info would be more reliable & specific. Happy cruising. :D
adbnva Posted July 5, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 5, 2014 how about the getaway for all latitude members?
garycarla Posted July 5, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 5, 2014 how about the getaway for all latitude members? Main reason that the bigger ships are different is due to size of ship and room enough for everyone. So, they then do them just for higher levels. Breakaway and Getaway are sister ships, so similar events.
JohnIreland Posted July 5, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) None on any 1,2,3 or 4 day cruises. For anything longer.... Breakaway, Getaway and Epic : One party for Silver and above None if you are Bronze Other Ships: Two parties for if you are Silver and above One party if you are Bronze Edited July 5, 2014 by JohnIreland

We HAD to have our invitation with us for both events last week. They were turning people away if they didn't bring it with them so they were definitely checking. If you're sailing in the same cabin, I'm sure it would be fine for the second reception. Ours wasn't well attended.
