New entry visa fees for Bali

Cant find any info on any official Indonesian website that the visa has increased from $US25 to $US35. Could anyone please steer me in the right direction for an official answer.

It's a great idea to have a copy of your passport with you as the original is taken for some days before it is returned.

Last year on our Top End Radiance cruise customs didn't process Sales Tax refunds on goods bought prior to cruising until we left Darwin.

As our passports had been collected for Bali Visa processing, many were unable to have their sales tax refunded.

Thankfully, we had our copies so there was no problem with our refunds.

Bali is definitely worth visiting. We always organise a private driver to take us beyond the madness of Denpasar.

If anyone is interested we have 4 spare seats available with our driver who has a mini-van for 8.

Our TA told us about the visa fee increase

Not only has the entrance visa fee increased to $35 but if flying out of Bali the departure tax has increased from IDR150000 to IDR200000 ($15 to $20)

Perhaps it is because of all of the Australian bogans as depicted in channel 7's

WHAT HAPPENS IN BALI show going there and making spectacles of themselves giving Australian tourists a very bad name
