Meal Times versus Show Times

We will be traveling with three boys aged 5, 6, & 7 on the August 3, 2015 Alaskan cruise. I haven't been able to find any information on how seating times for dinner coincide with evening entertainment times.

 

Are there shows taking place earlier so that the people on the 2nd season can attend before dinner? Or is it best to have the early dinner seating and then go see a show?

 

We have been thinking that we would prefer to have the boys eat at the 2nd seating, but only if they are able to see a show prior to dinner.

 

Please help with any information and suggestions!

Dinner seating times are typically 5:45/6:00 (Main seating) and 8:00/8:15 (Late seating). Show times are usually 6:15 and 8:30.

 

Those who have Late seating go to the early show, while those on Main seating go to the later show.

Exactly as above--the shows are during the dinner times. SO early dinner goes to second show, late dinner goes to first show. There are family and adult activities after the second seating, as well as kid programming....just in case they aren't totally exhausted.

Alaska was fantastic you will love it we did it in August 2015 it was great.

Whilst this is on Alaska dinner times note those in the Med who may view this dinner is at 6.15 and 8.45 -and shows 6.30 and 8.45 pm. And not as listed above.

Above is correct--dinner and show times vary based on the specific cruise involved. However, the principle that there are 2 show times and 2 dinner times and guests have one of each is consistent.
