Shawnino Posted July 14, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2014 This might be useful... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_acronyms but, well, YMMV. (Your mileage may vary. I didn't know half.)

I didn't know half.) Thanks for the link to that CC list of acronyms. But, curiously I think, it doesn't contain OP, DW ("Disney Wonder" doesn't count), TA (either meaning), QM2, QV, and QE. Salacia Posted July 15, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) I received a text message from a young family member earlier this evening, comprised mostly of initials in caps. I was alarmed. Turns out, it was nothing serious, and all was well. My personal opinion is that the tide will turn, and there will be a return to writing a full sentence with proper grammar. I know this because the Easter Bunny told me so. Oh just to mention there is a movement in the USA educational system NOT to teach script writing, but rather only print letters as appears on a keyboard.
