Thanks for the link to that CC list of acronyms. But, curiously I think, it doesn't contain OP, DW ("Disney Wonder" doesn't count), TA (either meaning), QM2, QV, and QE.

I received a text message from a young family member earlier this evening, comprised mostly of initials in caps. I was alarmed. Turns out, it was nothing serious, and all was well. My personal opinion is that the tide will turn, and there will be a return to writing a full sentence with proper grammar. I know this because the Easter Bunny told me so.

 

 

Oh just to mention there is a movement in the USA educational system NOT to teach script writing, but rather only print letters as appears on a keyboard.
