New England Lighthouse Tours

Maybe some one from the immediate area could suggest a lighthouse tour in Bar Harbor, because I am definitely not familiar with one. Most people going to Bar Harbor want to go to Acadia Nat Park, or wander about this wonderful port. If the tide is out you can walk along what was the ocean floor, to Bar Island, very interesting stroll. When the tide is in, it is under 30 feet of water

If you want lighthouses, stop in Portland where you will find a whole lot more.

Cheers

If the lighthouse tour the cruise line is offering in Bar Harbor catches your eye, I would seriously consider signing up for it through the cruise line. We were on a driving vacation in Maine two years ago and the Bar Harbor lighthouse cruise was sold out due to a ship being in port.
