cwbabe48 Posted July 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2014 What footwear would be advisable for walking the beaches on Bermuda?
2ndhoney Posted July 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2014 How much walking are we talking about? My husband and I aren't "beach" people so we pretty much walked along the beach on various parts of the island. He's a sneaker person for longer walks, Teva sandals for short walks. He's not a "toes in the sand" kinda guy. I like either a flat sandal with straps around my ankle when walking on sand (or I take off whatever shoe I have and go barefoot). cwbabe48 Posted July 16, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted July 16, 2014 Thanks, we are probably going to do a lot of exploring from one beach to the next so sneakers are most likely be the better. I love sandals too but sand and a lot of walking could mean blisters!

You cannot walk completely along the beach if for instance, you start at Warwick Long Bay and make your way to Horeshoe Bay. Nice walk, BTW.
