Another beverage package question

I have noticed on celebrity web site that if you book a drinks package then 15% will be added to the cost. Is this also added if you purchase the package on board as I cannot remember paying it the last time we booked the premium drinks package.

Also has anyone purchased the dinner package and how does it actually work, does celebrity choose all of the restaurants for you or just the first one? Thanks

This is the service charge, also called tip or gratuity.

It is part of all beverage purchases, so it would have been part of your previous purchase..

For customers in the UK, it is folded into the price of the beverage packages. For others, it is added to the price of the beverage package. The total is the same either way.

You might want to ask your dinner package separately, since it is a different issue and you'll get more focused responses if it is separated out from the beverage package question.

:cool:This is a new deal since last summer's cruise. Celebrity will pick one restaurant for your package on the first night of the cruise. Pot luck per say. They want more customers in spec rest 1st night. I would not do it myself because I want to establish rappore with my wait staff and table comkpanions the first night. If your are not having "fixed dining", then it would be a better deal:cool:JACK IS SAILING AGAIN
