Planning my first trip on Norwegian to Alaska September 2015. I have been on Carnival twice and loved it. Can you tell about Norwegian

 

1. Are all dinner restaurants extra cost ??

2. What can I drink for free ?

3. Are shows an extra cost ?

4. What kind of places are there for lunch ? Pizza ? Burgers ? Deli?

 

I'm sure I will think of more, feel free to tell me anything I should know. Thanks

I just read that there is a bowling alley and rock climbing wall on the Pearl , is this free ??

1. no. all ships have at least 3 main dining rooms

2. Tea, water, and juice.

3. Most shows are free, but some specialty shows aren't.

4. You can go to the cafe

5. I believe you have to pay for bowling but the rock wall is free.

1. No, there are several dining options for no extra charge. NCL.COM will have a good list.

2. Milk, coffee, tea, lemonade, juices in the morning.

3. No extra cost for shows unless a special dinner is included.

4. Buffet, poolside grill, O'Sheehans (comfort food) Main Dining Room

You can eat every meal without every incurring extra charge - Included no extra cost - All meals in the main dining room(s), buffet, 24 hour pub restaurant, and room service. Snacks served at the pool side grills or aft buffet between meals.

2. What can I drink for free ?

Coffee, hot tea (regular and herbal), iced tea, flavored water, milk at all meals, and fruit juice in the mornings only.

3. Are shows an extra cost ?

Only shows that have a meal service have a nominal cost. For an Alaska cruise that might be something like Mystery or Jazz lunch.

4. What kind of places are there for lunch ? Pizza ? Burgers ? Deli?

Main dining room during sea days (hot and cold entrees including burgers, steak, pasta, soup, salads, etc), the 24 hr pub restaurant (pub style food including buffalo wings, fish and chips, burgers, hot dogs, soups, salads, etc), the buffet (lots of variety of hot and cold entrees), and room service.

Welcome to cruising with NCL. We love them!

Hot chocolate packets are available in the buffet by the tea & hot water dispenser. You can even grab a couple of packets to make in your room with the coffee maker if you are in a balcony or above.

On the Pearl there are 2 dining rooms and both are free. there is also room service, buffet and Blue Lagoon

 

There are bowling alleys in Bliss and they are $5/game. Rock climbing wall is free
