Formal Nights on Celebrity Eclipse

Hi

Just booked to go on Eclipse in October Southampton to Spain and Canaries. Never been on Celebrity before (previous cruises on P&O) and wondered how many formal nights on a Celebrity 11 night cruise ? and what percentage of passengers adhere to it ? Dress code etc ? Ventura on a 14 night 3 years ago had 4 formals out of 14

I would advise you to read the FAQ section on Celebrity's website. It has a lot of useful info . It will answer your question and many other that you may have.

On my last celebrity cruise of that length there were 2 formal nights. I think we are also on the same cruise in oct (19th).

You will have two formal nights on your 11 night cruise. Here is a link with the FAQ that answers your question, lots of other info. You may have to scroll up or down a bit.

Most passengers on Celebrity adhere to the dress code which is included in that FAQ especially on a European cruise. The formal dress code is only required in the Main Dining Room, not anywhere else on the ship. Alternatives are room service where you may get the MDR meal sent to your room, Specialty restaurants and of course the buffet.
